|Location||Noordhoek, Cape Town|
This small house is situated in a dense milkwood forest on a steeply sloping site in Noordhoek in Cape Town. The house faces south to the sea view and the roof reaches up to receive north light. The form of the roof is reminiscent of the tail fins of passenger jets, which fly over the site on their descent into Cape Town International Airport. Under the cantilevered terrace, two small offices are inserted as free forms independent of the house above.
